South Africa has sold 2/3 of its world cup tickets allaying fears of empty grounds and indicating that the country is set to enjoy a bumper tourist and property year.

England’s football team will play in two of the favourite locations for second home buyers in South Africa – Cape Town and further along the garden route, Port Elizabeth.

England’s first game, however, will be played in Rustenberg, 70 miles to the north of South Africa’s major city, Johannesburg.
